Upcoming Dates And Times
Questions & Answers
- Should I submit my application before I attend the Workshop, or should I wait?
We recommend starting to work on your application so you’re familiar with the application, but don’t hit submit yet! During the workshop, we’ll walk through six key aspects we look for in competitive applicants and provide tips and recommendations on how to effectively highlight these aspects throughout your application. During the workshop, you can take notes on areas you want to improve, and then you’ll have about a few weeks to enhance your application before our first review cut-off date in mid-to-late August.
- Do I need to bring my application or transcripts with me?
No. The Workshop information is delivered in a presentation format. While there will be time for you to ask quick questions of admissions officers, we typically have over 100 in-person attendees, so there will not be time to review individual applications or coursework questions during the event. Feel free to email those to Odadmissions@ketchum.edu or request an advising session!
- Can I bring guests?
Yes! Always! At MBKU, your loved ones are our loved ones. While some aspects of the workshop may not apply to them, we believe it’s essential for your support team to understand the effort you’re putting into achieving your goal of becoming an Optometrist. There are also plenty of presentations that they will find engaging, and they’re welcome to join you in hands-on demos and lunch as well!
