Description
Pharmacists don't just stand behind a counter and put pills in bottles. Doctors of Pharmacy play an active role in navigating a patient's overall healthcare journey as part of an integrated team of medical professionals. Pharmacists can specialize in a wide variety of fields and the career opportunities are extremely diversified. Dr. Garcia will be sharing what a Pharmacist does, what career paths someone with a PharmD degree can pursue, and Student Ambassadors will share why they chose Pharmacy. Participants can submit questions to be answered live by Dr. Garcia or by the Pharmacy Student Ambassadors!
